Amir to invest £100,000 in Faryal’s makeup business to ‘save marriage’ amidst ‘sexting’ claims
Amid recent marital turmoil, former British boxer Amir Khan is making a desperate bid to save his marriage to Faryal Makhdoom by investing £100,000 in her cosmetics brand, Faryal Beauty. According to Daily Mail, the couple is currently separated after allegations that Amir ‘sexted’ a model and pursued explicit conversations with another woman.
In an effort to demonstrate his commitment to their relationship, Amir is also having a new swimming pool built at their luxury home in Dubai and has purchased a new Range Rover for Faryal’s use. A family source revealed that despite the difficulties, Amir is determined to support Faryal emotionally and financially. He recognises the importance of her beauty business and aims to back her as she navigates their marriage troubles.
The family source told the publication, “Things are not good between them, but Amir is prepared to do all he can to save the marriage. Faryal’s beauty business is very important to her, and he wants to acknowledge this and prove that he is willing to support her, both financially and emotionally.”
The source further added, “They are working through their problems and it’s not an easy time for them at the moment. But they’ve had a lot of ups and downs over the years and Amir is confident that they can get through their current troubles, like they have done in the past…For Amir, it’s not just about throwing money at the problem. He accepts that he has to change his ways if he and Faryal are to have a future. He knows this behaviour can’t continue.’
Faryal’s cosmetics range is set to expand with new products following Khan’s investment. According to the Daily Mail, Amir and Faryal are living apart, dividing their time between their homes in Dubai and Britain while Faryal decides whether she wants to end their 10-year marriage. The couple has not yet filed for divorce, but sources close to the duo reveal that she is going through a challenging period, focusing on her role as a mother to their three children.
“Faryal is taking time to think about whether or not to walk away,” a source told the tabloid. “She’s going through a very difficult time and choosing to focus on her children while she and Amir continue to co-parent.” The couple shares three children: daughters Lamaisah and Alayna, and a son named Muhammad.
