Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed the authorities concerned to prepare a special relief package keeping in view inflation in the country.

Addressing a meeting on Friday, he said that the people suffered due to inflation during the PTI government. “We will have to give them the relief. We will have to come up to the expectations of the people despite financial difficultie.”

The prime minister also ordered to prepare a special package for the youth. He also ordered the ministries to prepare a package to provide jobs to the youth.

Meanwhile, Naguib Sawiris, a well-known businessman from Egypt met Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif along with a delegation in Islamabad.

The prime minister while welcoming Naguib Sawiris and his delegation said that Pakistan is following investor friendly policies. He further stated that the government of Pakistan will provide all possible facilities to foreign investors.

Shehbaz Sharif said that Pakistan has enormous investment opportunities, especially in the fields of information technology, telecommunication, energy, agriculture, food processing, livestock, tourism and natural resources, which foreign investment companies can take advantage of.

The business group of Najeeb Sawiris has made successful investments in telecommunication and real estate sectors in Pakistan. Sawiris expressed his interest to expand investment portfolio of his business group in Pakistan, especially in the mining sector.
